Today I’m going to share with you my video that I submitted for this challenge. It explains the concept of Cosmological Redshift, a phenomenon that proves the universe is still expanding.
2020 has been a different year full of plenty of hardships. Hopefully, 2021 will be a much better year than this one, and will act as our light at the end of our tunnel. This is what I have represented in my art piece. I drew in colour pencil, a damp, narrow tunnel forming in the darkness, and at the end of it, a bright lantern, our hope for a brighter future. In my artwork, I have decided to show the world in two lenses. Oftentimes, the world feels gray. Sadness bubbles up inside and you feel that you’re all alone. Therefore, the tree on top is represented by a black-and-white barren tree to show the emptiness we seem to witness each day. Underneath that shade of…
If you look up at the sky during the night, there’s a very good chance you will see the moon. It’s so far away; most of the time we only see a sliver of it. On the occasion of a full moon, it just looks like a tiny, smooth, luminescent ball. Because of this, the…
You know that perfect time between summer and fall, when the weather is neither too hot, nor too cold and the view is amazingly picturesque? That’s what I have decided to portray. Using various different crayons, I added shading and depth to my landscape so that when viewer looks at it, they can get absorbed…
