The Character Matters assembly is an important event. It marks your strengths and needs. But the most important thing is what you do to get these rewards. The character matters happens at the end of each month. The whole school attends it.

There are many traits to get a Character Matters reward; responsibility, integrity, optimism, initiative, honesty, perseverance, french, drama, music, social studies, language arts, arts+crafts, kindness, math… Teachers notice these traits during your regular school time. If they see you do this often then during the character matters assembly they give you an award certificate on the subject to show that they have done well on that thing and to keep up the good work. If the teachers repeatedly see you doing a bad job, it effects your… REPORT CARD! (badly). The character matters is for us to realize what we are doing right and what needs some improvement. The character matters assembly is VERY IMPORTANT.

I am writing about the Character Matters assembly in my personal journal entry today because I am looking forward to doing my best this year, to doing well in any academic and social challenges that appear. I want to lift my grades above average and show who I really am. Character Matters has always been something important to me since it is a learning curve. To achieve an award, I must also have inner confidence. “I can do it, I will do it and I will show the world I can.”.

Character Matters is something everyone should look forward to. Character, matters, (like money).💰
